It's been years since the Jackass show was on MTV. We haven't
seen a Jackass movie since 2006. I guess with numbers like that
it is about right to bring out a Jackass video game. People
enjoyed the second movie and the television show can still be
seen at times on MTV. Not sure why a company would pay money to
get the rights to make a Jackass game but that is cool, it gives
the Review Busters a good game to review.
 Every
game has a plot and Jackass: The Game has one plot that will
blow your mind away. The camera crew to the hit televisions show
were filming another season of the show but they got injured. It
is now up to you to film the stunts and make sure each episode,
all seven of them, do well. Ok so the plot does make sense up
until you actually get to play the game.
Why in the hell would you want to play the stunts these
idiots do? I liked the show and both movies, they were funny.
When you take those great things and let the player ride down a
snow cover hill on a refrigerator you got problems. How about
having your friend kick you in the nuts and then fall down a
huge cliff. As you fall down the cliff you better make sure you
hit all the rocks and cactus's you can, that will gives you
higher ratings.
 This
game almost seems like a joke. You have thirty five stunts in
here. Story mode can be completed in two hours or less. If you
give a shit about this game then you might try and max
everything out but who cares. You can earn other outfits and the
ability to play these games in the games other mode, which just
lets you play the stunts again, but this time you need to get a
high school to earn more shit. Wait a second this is the same
fucking thing, all they did was take out the horrible cut
scenes. I mean it should tell you something if Bam Margera
didn't want to be part of the project. When did Bam have
standards?
The graphics are pretty weak for even a Playstation 2
release, There is constant clipping, mouths don't move when the
characters talk and the storyline footage is weak. Jackass: The
Game has almost thirty songs in it, which you get to hear when
you play the wonderful game. Seriously when I play this game I
heard the same four tracks over and over again and I didn't even
bother to check if you could change the tracks on the game. Even
though I am saying all these bad things about this game I do
like the fact that it shows you what parts of your body you
break during your stunts. This feature is ruined though whenever
you break too much, the game will stop it and either end the
stunt or put you right back where you left out. Great the saving
grace to this game is ruined, wonderful
Final Verdict
I can honestly save I hate this game. The controls suck
(sorry if I forgot to mention that), the graphics are sub par
and the music is worse than your little brothers mix. Making
Jackass into a video game was a bad idea and I could have told
you that before this piece of shit was put out on the shelves.
If you have a strong will then try this game, I was ready to
give up on this fucking pile of shit but for the sake of this
review I went through it and I am not happy with myself.
